random, random, random

This Sunday post will be my contribution to #sublimesunday initiated by @c0ff33a, #beautifulsunday initiated by @ace108, and my #sundayrandom, where I share my random macro shots.

Today I have some totally random photos to share with you all, and some of them have some funny story behind it, mostly it is with the help of my niece.

That morning, when I was trying to do a short photo hunt at home, my niece was already up, and he saw me with my camera. And you can guess what happened after that, he hurriedly ran to me, and asked what I wanted to photograph. I pointed to a small spider that I saw, but he had some other ideas. He ran somewhere else to find what to shoot, then got back to me, held my hand and pulled, and showed me what he wanted me to photograph.

So some of the subjects in these photos are from him.

I'm not sure about this one in the first photo, but maybe it's some kind of caterpillar that used sand to protect itself from predators or as a cocoon.

Then the second one here is this orange hard fungus that grows on an old log. He was really good at spotting some weird things. haha

Not sure about this one as well, maybe some kind of mold that grows on the organic matter. He saw it on the ground, and pointed out for me, asked me to take the photo.

And the last one is this big mosquito that resting on the underside of a leaf. This one is quite big, and I think the stink it caused can be annoying.
