A weekend of boxes... Moving soon!

I need boxes. When we think of a move, the image that comes to mind is a lot of boxes that have to be carried from one place to another.

That's going to come because soon I'll be moving house, so chaos will soon begin as well. I look around and I see so many things, in a big house for many years they accumulate in almost every corner, in cabinets and on shelves, everywhere. And all of that has to be collected.

Despite all the mess, and so much to do, I preferred to start with some of these tasks so that I don't have to do it all day before in a hurry and running and with even more stress. So we have to take advantage of the previous weekends to have some extra time that we sometimes lack.

Yesterday the best part of the plan was to go to the beach for a while, a couple of dips to freshen up, relax and then be able to think more clearly. It is always positive to maintain a balance when possible. Now it is still possible.

But this weekend can be the beginning of the change. This Sunday is definitely quintessential checkout day, that pivotal moment when we start to clear some space. That moment in which it seems that everything is coming down on us because we realize how many things we have, many memories, relics, useful things, objects that may be useful to us one day, and other things that we didn't even remember. In addition to many others that will have to be thrown away as well. We cannot keep everything, we also have to let go some...

For this we can consider giving away some things, I have already thought about that and who could be the lucky ones. Others we could donate, there are places that accept many things that we would think of throwing directly into the garbage and other people would give them another use. And for this, we can also sell some other objects that are like new, so in addition to giving them a new opportunity, we can get a small amount of extra money, now that we will have so many expenses, large and small. So everything is a plus.

And we realize in these moments that there are many old things, that are no longer in good condition, others that no longer serve any function, or that we have never really used, and others that bring back bad memories, moments that we almost prefer forget, or leave behind.All that in the trash without thinking much more. A move represents an important change, a start over with a clean slate.

But before starting a new stage, we have to finish this one, and at this moment, we start the process, we make plans, we need to be well organized, we search and ask for boxes, and more boxes, because it seems that there are many, the room looks like a warehouse, but immediately they fill up, in a while, and the plan will have to change, because we will need more weekends of boxes, to fill more many boxes...
