Ultraboost Supremacy -- Actifit Report Card: June 24, 2025

Very pleased to see that the famous New York City Library on 5th Avenue is decorated for Pride Month. Of course, libraries are for everyone!
My back is still impeding my ability to walk with my normal stride and gait, but I'll need to be prepared to walk through the pain as I have a 10-day trip to Italy starting on Thursday night. There is no time to lay around and feel sorry for my injury.
Despite the record-breaking heat that hit NYC with 100 F temperatures (38 C) on Tuesday, I did manage to get out of the house for a few hours in the late evening. First, I stopped at the Adidas flagship store on 5th Ave to pick up a new pair of Ultraboost sneakers since I only have weight trainers and GoreTex Jordan 1s currently Man, those ultraboost gotta be the most comfortable shoes I've worn in a while. This is my 3rd pair over the last 6 years!

After I got my sneakers, I strolled down 5th Avenue to go to the Football Factory to meet up with my fellow New York Blues for Chelsea's pivotal 3rd game in the group stage of the Club World Cup.
Admittedly, most of the hardcore fans had made the 2-hour trip down to Philadelphia to watch the game live. But I've never been a fan of these preseason roadshow games in the US, so I was perfectly content watching on TV from the air-conditioned basement shrine to world football.
The game started at 9pm and ended around 11pm, so that explains why the majority of my steps came so late last night. At least I'm getting closer to 10K again. It's been too long. Until next time...
