DuceCrypto's Actifit Report Card: May 15+16, 2024

He's back with another big step count for a weekday! It feels good to be back. I had a bit of an issue posting the other day, so I'm combining Wednesday and Thursday in the title, although this report is specifically focused on Thursday.

After a calm day of teaching with the stay back group from the school field trip, I had an action-packed afternoon. First, I took a bus and subway over to the park to watch my students' soccer game. There are some gorgeous stained glass windows at the subway stop I went to, although it is very unassuming from the outside.

Our kiddos won 6-1 in a game that was never really in doubt. They scored their only goal from a very questionable PK call on a handball in the box. The coach and I definitely wanted to see the VAR on that call, hahaha!

After the game, I booked it back to the subway to head over to an evening rooftop show at Elsewhere! Com Truise was on the decks from 8pm to 10pm for sunset and played a fun set that had the crowd dancing.

On my way to the club, I was able to snap off this extraordinary piece of art painted on a large building wall. I love the juxtaposition of a Jew and an Arab embracing while wearing the national soccer jerseys of Messi (blue) and Ronaldo (red), who have longtime been rivals for the title of GOAT.

That's a debate for a different day, but the answer is Messi, of course. Until next time...
