Bumble Bees & Honey Bees @ Regents Park, London

The past weekend with the lovely weather in London I visited Regents Park to catch some sun and to get out the house as the heat indoors is too hot to be sat around without aircon.😂

Took a blanket, some cold drinks, bought some cheese and crackers and enjoyed my relaxation time! Regents Park is one of the more beautiful parks in London in my opinion, probably my favourite one actually, it's huge and so colourful with the various flower varieties spread all over, makes for a lovely place to come and unwind when the weather is like this.

I choose a more quiet region compared to the more foot heavy traffic areas around the park, somewhere- where the grass is a little overgrown and the weeds, dandelions and random other flowers sprout through. It was a huge field of these white small flowers I'm unsure the name but I didn't realise how much bees love the things! They we're everywhere I looked, must've had a nest nearby somewhere!

I wish I took a picture of the whole field to show the amount of bees spread around the floor doing their jobs going about their business. I made sure not to place my blanket over any don't worry! It was quite nice to sit around them as they peacefully went about things. No disturbance to me or the food and beverages I bought along thankfully. 😂

It's beautiful to see bumble bees in person as they're so fat, chunky and fluffy. Harmless little things when left alone, although it did come sniffing around my wine a few times, maybe because the bottle had a yellow label or was it after my sweet nectar!

The wine went down a treat, all of it finished off pretty quickly with the heat and good vibes. The one downside was I forgot a corkscrew of all things to forget when bringing wine to a park... 😂

Thankfully it was a covered cork so I didn't feel disgusted pushing it into the bottle to be able to drink the thing. Always a solution!

As I was sat about I also observed a tonne of honey bees working around me. I always get confused with honey bees and wasps but I guess when you see a wasp you definitely know it's a wasp. These little guys were all peaceful too and un-bothering. I wish I was able to see where their nest was but I was too lazed out with the heat that day, would've been cool to follow them home for a sneak view!

It was a lovely relaxing day, enjoyed myself a lot. Always nice to get out and in the sun when you're able, sucks the week days are so busy sometimes but when you're able it's a perfect way to spend the day. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed the bees, cheers and take care my friends! :)
