Hello @bayanihive community! I hope you’re all doing well. I’m sharing my simple life on the farm. 🌿💛💚

Every day in the farm follows a simple rhythm. I work online, take care of my child and help with farm tasks in between. When snacks time comes, I slow down for a bit. This usually happens in front of our farmhouse, facing the rice field. I have a small spot there that I really love. It’s where I take photos of my simple snacks.

I enjoy eating while feeling the fresh air and seeing the rice field in front of me. It helps me rest my eyes after looking at my laptop for hours. These moments are short, but they give me energy to continue working and being present as a mom.

I really love kankanin, so my snack often include butchi and alupi. They are filling and comforting. I also boil corn from our own farm. Knowing it comes from our land makes it taste better, from our backyard garden, I get sweet potato, sometimes boiled and sometimes fried I also make banana fries, and I always add cheese because its my child’s favorite. She gets happy even with simple food.

When it’s raining days, purple corn tastes even better with a hot cup of coffee. For me, coffee is life it warms the heart and makes rainy days extra cozy.

On some days, I have siomai and fried lumpia, with a sauce that makes everything better I dot prepare expensive meals, I just serve what we have at home. What is easy, and what everyone enjoys.

For breakfast, I prepared fried fish and I paired it with fresh harvest cucumber from our garden. Its simple but enough to start a day.

This is my daily life on the farm. Simple food, simple moments and I may be busy, but these small breaks remind me to be thankful for what we have. Thank you for taking time to read my story, and this is my owned picture, edited in Canva. Have a nice day, ahead.
