Prompt: Detective Animal

This is my drawing for day 26 of the justdraw challenge. The prompt is detective animal and so I went with this chill detective that looks like a bear but the snout is a bit longer. He is sitting on a park bench reading a case file or whatever lol.I pictured him as the old school type big black bear head, wearing a little green bucket hat tilted back, small round blue glasses perched on his snout, rich golden yellow trench coat, blue shirt collar peeking out, brown pants, and shiny black shoes. He is holding the paper he is looking for clues browsing the news headline and is looking kinda focused but relaxed like he's been at this detective thing for long and nothing surprises him anymore. I wanted it simple and cozy, just him on the green bench against a plain gray background so he stands out. Thought it'd be straightforward with basic shapes and colors, but nope. Getting the glasses to sit right on that long bear snout without looking goofy took forever. The coat folds and how it drapes over the bench were annoying to draw; if I made them too sharp he looked stiff, too soft and it got messy. And his expression... tried like seven different eye shapes so he looks thoughtful and smart instead of sleepy or confused haha. Even the paper in his paw needed redrawing so it didn't look flat.Anyway, here he is, my detective bear just taking a quiet moment to think about the case. What do you think? Does he look like he'd solve the mystery or not
