Companies, whether public or private, are constantly seeking to make their processes successful by implementing models, theories or innovative applications to achieve the best performance and thus be able to respond to the people they serve as well as to satisfy the demands of the personnel working in the industry in question. Companies take great care of the operational aspect, but also take into consideration the administrative actions that are established in them.

According to Blas and collaborators (2016) defines "situational leadership is based on the assumptions that people can and want to develop and that there is no optimal leadership style to stimulate such development. The leadership style must be able to change and adapt to the situation." Leadership must be present at any time and place where the actions of the company are being carried out.

We can say that situational leadership is based on the degree of leadership and direction or task behavior, the degree of social and emotional support or behavior in one-person relationships and the level of commitment and willingness of employees based on their ability to demonstrate it when performing a certain task.

It should be noted that companies are always looking for their administrative processes to be carried out as efficiently and effectively as possible and the situational leader is a fundamental pillar for this process to be fulfilled, as it helps to guide the actions to be taken, as well as to evaluate the achievements and goals set.

To conclude we can mention that a situational leadership must be prepared to direct, train, support and delegate functions in certain moments that the organization always has.
