Riff of the week: Sound The Surrender by Darkest Hour

Yo, I'm back again today with one mini cover or whatever the fuck you want to call it of one of my favorite riffs from the band Darkest Hour. Nothing slaps better for me than playing old 2000's era Metalcore guitar riffs. Seriously, that era of metal was nothing but absolute boner jams. At least in my humble opinion. I might come back and do a full cover of this in the future, but we'll see. I have a bunch of full covers I'd like to do first that I've been waiting on recording. My 6 string needs some wire work done I think, as I've noticed that a hum gets much louder anytime I touch something metallic on my guitar. So, I might have to retire that battered horse for a bit depending on what my local luthier thinks. I guess I'll either have to wait, or stop being a bitch and drag out my crusty 7 string guitar and get back to playing more modern stuff where it just sounds like a homeless man dying inside of a dumpster because of how low tuned I am.
