Conmemorando la Semana Santa // Via crucis// (Esp/Eng)

Hola amigos de hive, les deseo unas felices fiestas de Pascua. Que este día, en el que celebramos la resurrección de Cristo, llene nuestras vidas de alegría, esperanza y tranquilidad. En este inicio de Semana Santa, me gustaría compartir un recorrido de Vía Crucis que realizamos en nuestra comunidad.

El Vía Crucis se realiza durante los viernes de Cuaresma, es un rito fundamental en la pasión de Cristo dentro de la fe católica. Se trata de un recorrido sagrado que se realiza para conmemorar la muerte de nuestro Señor Jesucristo. Por ello, este viernes nos tocó participar, y en cada casa se representó una estación diferente. Verdaderamente, rezar este Vía Crucis nos permite revivir los momentos en que Jesús cargó su cruz, y al hacerlo, lo recordamos con amor y gratitud por el inmenso sufrimiento que padeció para liberarnos del pecado.

The Way of the Cross is a fundamental rite in the passion of Christ in the Catholic faith. It is a sacred journey that is made to commemorate the death of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, this Friday it was our turn to participate, and in each house a different station was represented. Truly, praying this Way of the Cross allows us to relive the moments when Jesus carried his cross, and in doing so, we remember him with love and gratitude for the immense suffering he endured to free us from sin.

Así que este recorrido lo realizaban sólo los vecinos cercanos; en cada casa había una estación. En total son 14 estaciones, a veces se coloca una más para que sean 15 estaciones ya que ésta está dedicada a la resurrección de Cristo. Decidimos hacer las quince estaciones, cada una simbolizando un momento de la Pasión del Señor, desde su condena hasta su sepulcro. En cada estación, rezamos la oración correspondiente y, al final, cantamos juntos.

We decided to make the fifteen stations, each one symbolizing a moment of the Lord's Passion, from his condemnation to his tomb. At each station, we prayed the corresponding prayer and, at the end, we sang together.

Pocas personas participaron en este acto, ya que respetamos las creencias religiosas de cada uno, así que lo hicimos entre nosotros en nuestra zona. Hicimos ese penoso recorrido y nos detuvimos en cada estación, donde leímos un fragmento representativo. Rezamos y cantamos juntos. En casa de mi madre, fuimos a la estación VI, relacionada con «La Verónica enjuga el rostro de Jesús». Ese momento se considera una manifestación de la misericordia de Jesús, pues en su camino consiguió que le limpiara el rostro.

Few people participated in this act, as we respect each one's religious beliefs, so we did it among ourselves in our area. We made that painful journey and stopped at each station, where we read a representative fragment. We prayed and sang together. At my mother's house, we went to station VI, related to “Veronica wipes the face of Jesus”. That moment is considered a manifestation of Jesus' mercy, for on his way he got her to wipe his face.

El Vía Crucis es un acto de recuerdo, pero también de contemplación del rostro sufriente del Señor y al hacerlo recordamos con amor y gratitud el inmenso sacrificio de Jesús para redimirnos del pecado.

The Stations of the Cross is an act of remembrance, but also of contemplation of the suffering face of the Lord and in doing so we remember with love and gratitude the immense sacrifice of Jesus to redeem us from sin. I leave you with the saddest and most beautiful music of these dates.
