Nothing Surpass Having Good Character

Sometimes in life, I just sit down and think about the kind of people I have met. Some have money, some have fame, some get big position but what I notice is that nothing truly surpass having good character. Because no matter how rich or powerful you are, if your attitude is bad, people go still avoid you.

Good character it all means to me how you treat others, even when they are not helpful. It’s about respect, been honesty, and stay humble. I remember one time when I was working in a small shop, there was this man who always come to buy things. He was rich, you can see it from his car and dressing, but he never talk down on anybody. He greet everybody with smile, even small children. That man taught me that respect is not by age or money, but by how you value people.

I have also seen the opposite. Some people when they just get small success, they start to look down on others like they are nothing. They talk rude, they show pride, they forget that life can turn at any time. Those kind of people, no matter what they have, people no go truly love them, they only pretend around them.

I believe good character open more doors than money can. People can reject your money, but they can never forget your good attitude. Talk of family, talk of friendship, work, or business the way you behave is what people will always remember about you.

Sometimes, we always understand that it not easy to always act right, especially when people treat you very bad like you mean nothing. But I have learn that reacting with anger or hate only make things worse. Keeping calm, forgiving, and staying respectful makes you stronger, not weak.

Life has taught me that beauty will fade, money can finish, connection can break, but good name and good heart will follow you till the end.

So if you ask me, I’ll say the best thing a person can have is not money or fine clothes it’s good character. Because when you carry that one, every other thing go fall in place by time. Truly, nothing surpass having good character.
