Slothly Savers Club - Progress as of Jan 16th

January is now halfway over and there is still a lot of year left to enjoy. I plan on enjoying all of it.

In the meantime, I do like to keep track of how I am progressing toward my saving goals for the year. I believe goals are an important part of directing my actions toward where I would like to end up.

Seeing how far you have come toward your goals at the beginning provides time for adjustments so that you do not need to work as hard later in the time period for which the goal covers.

I would really like to get to Hive Dolphin status sooner than later but do realize that it is not something that will happen over night (unless I win the lottery) and will take some consistent work over time to achieve.

With that in mind, I have created a primary and secondary goal for 2026.

Primary 2026 Goal
My primary 2026 Goal will be to reach 5,000 HP and I started with 4,192 HP. This will be my first step toward reaching Hive Dolphin status.

The plan for the year is to increase my Hive Power by 808 HP.

Secondary 2026 Goal

My secondary goal is to increase my SPS staking in Splinterlands by 18,500 SPS. I had 74,286.813 staked SPS at the beginning of the year. The increased Staked SPS should help me move up in the SPS Validator ranking. I started out this year in 245 rank.

Primary Goal Progress
Now let's check my progress toward my primary goal.

I am not expecting it to be very much since I had just started back creating content and post on Hive for the year.

As of today, I have 4,203.5 Hive Power. This is an increase of 11.5 Hive Power.

16 / 365 = 0.044

so 4.4 % of the year has past

% of HP toward goal -

11.5 / 808 = 0.014

so 1.4 % of progress toward my Hive Power primary goal

Since I just started my creating content and it is the beginning of the year, I do not see the short fall of 3 percentage points a large enough gap to start worrying about since it is just one data point so is not very reliable at indicating if it will be a trend.

Secondary Goal Progress
Now let's check my progress toward my secondary goal. Just so you know my primary Splinterlands gaming account name is darmstrong

As of today, I have 74,380.307 Staked SPS. This is an increase of 93.494 Staked SPS. Not much of a start but it is still the beginning of the year and there is quite a long way to go.
