Car update - Sudden braking and inoperable pedal - Solved? [ENG/SPA]

It's been a while since I've posted here. To be honest, I haven't been able to do much with the car for several weeks. Since it started acting up, where after a long drive the brake pedal wouldn't accelerate, thankfully nothing serious has happened. The only thing is, I've got another oil leak from the damper seals. I had that "fixed" recently, but it didn't last at all. I want to give you an update on the car's accelerator problem and explain why the issue was resolved.

Saludos comunidad, tiempo que escribir por acá porque la verdad no he podido hacer mucho por el carro en varias semanas, desde el fallo que estuvo presentando que luego un un largo rato de uso el pedal del freno no aceleraba, desde ese momento no ha pasado nada grave gracias a Dios, solo se me volvió a presentar un vote de aceite por la estoperas del damper, algo que mandé "arreglar" hace poco pero no duró nada. Lo que quiero es actualizar cuál es la situación del carro con el problema del acelerador y porque la falla de corrigió.

The Unexpected Culprit

Turns out, in my previous post about this problem, I mentioned that the brake pedal switch wasn't related to the fault. Well, it was! After installing the new one, the car only had one episode where it suddenly stopped accelerating while I was on the highway. I thought the problem was back, but it turned out that one of the clips for the cable going to the throttle body broke. I've removed it so many times to reset the computer's signal and get the car to accelerate again that it no longer holds properly. So, with engine vibration after driving a lot, I have to adjust it.

Pues resulta que en la publicación donde hablaba de este problema mencionaba que el interruptor del pedal del freno que no guardaba relacion con esta falla, pues resulta que si. Luego de instalar el nuevo el carro solo tuvo un episodio donde mientras venía por la autopista repentinamente dejo de acelerar, pensé que la falla persistía pero resultó que el cable que llega al cuerpo de aceleración, de tantas veces que lo retire para reiniciar la señal del computador para que volviera acelerar, uno de los sujetadores se rompió y no se sujeta bien, entonces con la vibración del motor luego de rodar mucho hay que ajustarlo.

Why the Brake Affects the Accelerator

Now, the question is: Why does this brake pedal switch have anything to do with the accelerator pedal not working? After some research, it turns out that when you apply the brake, the switch sends a signal to the powertrain control module (ECU). This tells the ECU to decelerate the engine, making that action coincide with braking. Since this happens in fractions of a second, acceleration is also inhibited.

Ahora la pregunta es ¿Porque este interruptor del pedal de freno tiene que ver con que el pedal del acelerador no funcione? Bueno luego de investigar resulta que el interruptor al aplicar el freno envía una señal al control de tren de potencia o como muchos la conoce ECU para que esté desacelere el motor y esa acción coincida con la de frenado, como esto ocurre en fracciones de segundos, también el aceleración se inhibe.

If the ECU doesn't receive the signal from the brake pedal switch, it interprets it as constant braking. This, in turn, completely deactivates the accelerator pedal, not just for the fraction of a second it should. This signal loss can even cause the ECU to shut off the engine, which happened to me several times as well.

Si la ECU no recibe la señal del interruptor del pedal de freno, lo interpreta como que está ocurriendo un frenado constantemente, eso por lo tanto deja desactivado por completo el pedal del acelerador, y no por la fracción de segundos que debería. Incluso está perdida provoca que la ECU apague el motor, lo cual me llegó a pasar varias veces también.

My Analysis: What Do You Think?

All this analysis has come after a lot of investigation, but I still need part of the wiring diagram to fully confirm it. I've only managed to read the TPS fault section in the workshop manual, and everything seems fine. However, the fault hasn't reappeared, which suggests my theory is likely correct.

What do you all think? Do you believe this analysis is accurate, or could it be some other cause?

Lo cierto es que todo este análisis a sido luego de mucha investigación pero aún me falta parte del diagrama electrónico para termina de corroborar, solo he alcanzado a leer en el manual de taller la sección de fallas en el TPS y todo parece estar bien, sin embargo, la falla no se ha presentado más, lo que me indica que la posibilidad es alta pero que opinan ustedes ¿Creen que es acertado este análisis o puede ser alguna otra causa?
