It seems that I find the most interesting information over the internet whenever I'm not expecting it.

It's without a doubt that Dragon Ball Z is one of my favorite anime of all time. It could easily take the top spot for me. It's the first anime that I could remember that I watched during my childhood. That only shows that I'm a 90s kid.

I remember as a young and energetic kid that at 4:00 PM, I had to stop playing outside to go back home to watch this anime. I will fight with my siblings if they try to change the channel of our television while I'm immersed in watching this anime.

Of course, the internet didn't exist back then so I don't have any knowledge about the creator Akira Toriyama and his intentions why he created this manga or anime. Recently, I learned in an interview, he said that he created it to make the little boys happy. He knows exactly what would excite the kids by creating characters and stories that take pride in martial arts, adventures, dragons, and superpowers! He breathes life into the fantasy of the adventurous imaginations of the viewers.

Aside from inspiring the viewers, Akira Toriyama also inspired manga creators in their works. Animes like One Piece, Naruto, Boruto, Fairy Tail, Bleach, and many more took inspiration from Dragon Ball Z. I guess I won't be wrong to assume that Akira has set the standard for modern-day anime.

Sadly, Akira Toriyama passed away last month. His legacy will live on.

I didn't actively search about it but I read it in comments from a video about the OST of Dragon Ball Z.

Interestingly, the video was an audition of a singer in The Voice Thailand. The rendition was nowhere near the amazing performance of Hironobu Kageyama however all of the judges turned around. The judges were also fans of the anime and its soundtrack. They didn't even think twice but when they heard the song, the inner child in them pressed the button!

Here's the YouTube video, cheers!
