Cleaning Messes and Causing Them Too | The WereCleaner

It's the Steam Summer Sale until July 10th! Have you bought any games lately?
I’ve been scrolling through the store, looking for budget-friendly games to add to my wishlist (even if I already have a bunch of unplayed ones), when I stumbled upon a free game called The WereCleaner.

The WereCleaner is a simulation game where you play as a janitor working the night shift. But the twist is, you’re also a werewolf. You’ve got to clean up the office without revealing your secret and without attacking anyone.

The trailer looked promising and since it was free, I figured I had nothing to lose. So I downloaded it and gave it a go.
On my first day, things were easy! It was a day shift so I didn’t have to worry about turning into a werewolf yet. I just went around doing normal janitor duties. Everything went smoothly. But on day two, things started to get difficult.

It was my first night shift, and apparently, we’re not even paid for night work! But I still had to clock in because I’d only get my paycheck after seven full days 😭 Soo unfair!

As soon as my shift started, I transformed into a werewolf 😂 My voice even changed a bit and the security guard got suspicious!! I just said I have colds 😭😂 Thankfully, he bought it!

The real challenge was cleaning while avoiding employees. There were way more rooms than I expected, and employees were still walking around. I had to time my cleaning just right, hiding behind rooms or waiting for people to leave before I could sneak in and start tidying up.

It was really a difficult night!
While I was cleaning the second room, someone walked in and saw me! I didn’t have time to hide (I was panicking!) There weren’t any objects nearby to hide behind either. So I did what a werewolf does. I attacked the employee 😭😭 I had to! I swear I didn’t want to, but the game gave me no choice 😭 And since I already killed the employee, I figured I might as well devour the body and continue cleaning like nothing happened.

That night was a mess. Literally and emotionally. Now I have five more nights to survive without killing anyone else 😭 If I mess up again, no paycheck for me! I got so nervous (and kind of overwhelmed) that I closed the game and told myself I’ll play again some other time 😂

Overall, The WereCleaner is fun! It’s the kind of game you can enjoy in short span of time, especially after a long workday. It doesn’t demand hours of your time like The Sims or Stardew Valley (these are the games I love but tend to lose track of time playing).

If you're looking for a quick game to spice up your gaming week, I recommend giving it a try. It’s free, it’s funny, and it’ll test your sneaky skills.
Have any of you played it yet? I'd love to read your janitor-werewolf stories too!
