We're All Working Hard, But It Ain't Dull!
The Christmas Holidays are now a fading memory and Vacay Holidays are no where in sight. We're all just busy with work, school, and building & posting on Hive. In our 236th week of CWH, we are seeing slow but inching growth on our account.
Did you know that to run this community and the live events, including designing the online experience, and reporting on it every day on both Discord and Hive takes over 100 hours from skilled volunteers each week?
Just to keep the hosting of three events a day covered we hand off the Zoom host privileges from time to time. It can go smoothly a hundred times until it doesn't!
Today, I arrived to the #cuppajoe casual hang out event, @bitterirony had opened the room for everyone. I never noticed that the box appeared on screen for me to take the reins, so when Bitter left for his session with his poetry tutor (yes, he has one!), the entire room went dead! 🤣
Oh, well! I logged back in, as did @chris-uk, so we had a lovely chat while about half of the crew come back to the room. We had a good laugh, but hey, the disruption inspired our KCWH - BBCWH Radio 1 video that I've include in the Seque (below).
CWH — Who We Are & What We Do
Creative Work Hour is a community, a creative incubator, and a daily HIVE-staking project. We have hosted more than 3000 events since founded by @alessandrawhite on 1 July, 2021. Every single day we host no fewer than three events.
The first, #cuppajoe is a casual hang out, a coffee break. The second, Creative Work Hour #cwh is our flagship event that powers up daily. The third, Practice Not Perfect #pnp is our bonus event designed for muted music practice and for creative work to continue.
