Where Winds Meet - The Beginning.

This is my first gaming post in this community and on Hive. I tried Where Winds Meet, which is free on Steam, and it looked like a cool game, so I jumped into it. I'm sharing my experience with this game. In this post, I'll share the beginning of this game where my playable character rides with an NPC to survive from some enemies, and then I fought a boss where I learned some tutorials.

I was shown some amazing green bamboo forests at the beginning of the game. After the game suggested me to use a headphone for the best experience.

A man was resting beside his horse, holding a baby, who is my playable character in this game. And then, suddenly, another man appeared on the scene, and my character was about to behead him. But then he recognized him, so that man, named Chen Zixi, was spared. And that man was spared.

They had a little conversation and suddenly they had some incoming blades towards them, so they started blocking them.

Some people on arms came running on horses to seize them. So, both my characters and the other one started escaping the scene, taking their horses, and I had to fight some enemies on the way.

After a long horse chase, we entered into a temple, where the enemy riders couldn't get in. And it looked like there was a bigger threat waiting for us.

More blades are coming towards my character, and he avoids them smoothly, still holding the baby. And there came this big boss named the Void King, who is a servant of Emperor Ai.

This one looked like a legendary boss and he was really scary. I noticed there were some monkeys around us who were like cheering that boy came.

I had to fight this working alone as the other NPC went somewhere and I was learned some tutorials in this battle.

When I finally took down the boss, an insect went inside his head through his ear, and something happened.

It looked like someone was having a flashback or a nightmare or a dream, though I was unsure who was seeing them. But it shows a cool concept that I hope I'll get to experience later.

A moment later I understood my character was having this flashback and that working came back from dead and I was able to slaughter my character but the other NPC took him down.

But Chen died sadly, in trying to save my character and the insect that went inside the enemies head, came out after that.

The insect then flew away and went back to its summoner, and the summoner is the one who was shown in the flashback beside a black panther.

Both the concept and the graphics and also the gameplay of this game looks cool. I hope I'll try more scenes and more posts in the community. That's all for now.
