Let's leave children how God sent them

One thing I know about human beings is that we are never satisfied with whatever we have, whether it's our looks, body shape, finances, or even the house we live in.So I won't be surprised if we ever have the opportunity to choose how our babies will look, some will do a really terrible job with that.

If prospective parents decide to modify the genes of their babies before they are born, it won't be a bad idea because parents will get to change so many things in the life of their children. Imagine knowing that your child will have a terminal illness; you will be able to modify it for the child to be sickness-free.

If you check in your child's life and it turns out that he or she has no talent at all, or that the talent the child has doesn't suit your personality, you can quickly change it to something you feel will be lovely or well-deserving.

Although it will look like a perfect solution in an unbalanced world like ours now, it will favor lovers who are SS and have been told that they can't marry.Because they will be able to remove all forms of defects that the child will have, they will have a stress-free marriage in terms of spending money for hospital bills and always running around to get drugs.

But it won't be the best; the earth won't be in balance at all. Imagine that almost everybody is a doctor, nurse, engineer, or lawyer. Most parents will choose a profession that will suit them, just so that they will answer 'mama doctor' or 'mama lawyer.'

If everybody were to have almost the same talent, how do we now have comedians, journalists, and other professions and even the doctors that some will choose for their child, how will they make money if all the sick are removed from babies at birth.

Another issue is that we won't have short, ugly, talkative, dark-skinned children. Many parents will like their child to be beautiful, tall, handsome with gap teeth, dimples, and light skin, in fact, all the features that make people turn their neck when someone passes.

Honestly, it won't be right at all. So many things will go wrong in a way that the earth might be worse than it is right now. Just imagine what's happening right now because every celebrity is trying to look perfect. Our greed in looking for perfection is insatiable. Let's take a look at celebrities; it's the quest to look like what God didn't create them to be that has caused them to go for liposuction, BBL, cheek lifting, and nose reconstruction.

Some didn't even come out alive, others did but with regrets, and some are looking like an oracle. If this opportunity presents itself, some children might die because after changing the child's genes, some might see what their neighbor's child looks like and go back to redo theirs again. It won't be ethical at all; where will the uniqueness that God creat be, let's just leave it as God has made it to be.
