Something Yello!

I am not quite sure when it happened, but yellow became a favorite color of mine along the way. There is something about yellow the sensibility of a steadiness and calmness, while still being a color full of life. Happiness, warmth, energy—these are things that I often hear people say yellow stands for. Perhaps that is true.

But, to me yellow even has a deeper meaning than that. Yellow reminds me of sunlight not just the one we see on the sky every morning that makes things bright, but the kind that also makes things better. Yellow is not flashy unlike some colours, It sits back and shows up, and just like that, things feel a little bit lighter.

Dew days ago as i was, in the middle of rushing out to take a bus, I caught a small glimpse of something yellow at the edge of a very quiet corner near my home. It was a tiny bunch of little yellow flostop and they really looked beautiful. Even though i was going to miss my bus but I had to stop to take a shot. The petals looked like they had just opened soft and soaked with dew. The petals were bright, elegant and attarctive as you you can see for the pictures i have shared.

They were just sitting there, looking calm and shoiwng their beauty. Their new green leaves were just stretching open, as if they were getting ready for something good. And in that little unexpected moment they offered me a peace I didn't realize I needed. I took the pictures not because I had time to, but because I couldn't help it seeing one of the favourites

That's the thing about yellow, it's full of contrasts. Yellow can feel mellow; like the early morning sun stretching into a quiet room; or it can feel intense; like the midday sun pushing through the end of a long, miserable afternoon. Either way though, it carries something true: something that will invariably make you stop and take a breath.

Those flowers weren't trying to convince anyone of their presence (let alone their beauty). And, yet, in that small time and beautiful moment, they spoke to me in a way that nature speaks to us. They told me how these beauties filled out world with health and peace. When we take our time to study nature, we will realise that there is always something good and beautiful to about them to learn. For me that morning, something yellow was saying, "you still have something good here. Even if it is just a moment worth pausing back for.
