Creating new creatures for Holozing! - and recommending artists
0 comments

Hello Holotrainers!
I've been reviewing some of the latest Holozing posts, and I've noticed that in addition to being a project that almost always provides updates on its development, they also release new creatures for the game from time to time. I like some more than others, but one thing is certain: there's never a shortage of updates!
I spent some time thinking about new creatures that could appear in Holozing. The truth is, the catalog currently only has a few creatures, since the process of creating their 2D versions is long enough that it can take months to reveal even one, so I decided to help.
Let's create a couple of new creatures!

1. Electric
I recently adopted a small orange cat full of energy. Every day is an adventure with her, to the point where I often think she would be a perfect sketch for one of those Holozing creatures that never stay still.
She is an electric-type creature, small, restless, and extremely fast. Her body seems to be always charged with energy, with sparks running across her fur. She lives in abandoned urban areas or old technological facilities, absorbing residual energy. She's ideal as an agile creature, with fast and expressive animations that convey her mischievous personality.
2. Bones
And inspired by another real-life case of one of my pets who has already left this world, I want to create this creature in her honor. It would be something like an imposing ghost German Shepherd, with several evolutions that will accentuate that aura.
A spectral-type creature born in ancient battlefields or forgotten ruins. It has a slender silhouette, with a large fractured central horn and a dark aura surrounding it. Once again, I'm using all that neutrality to say that it's not an evil being despite having a certain affinity for darkness.
Those are my two proposals for new creatures, but there are more.
I want to recommend some creators with experience in creature creation and design, people who are eager to do this if given the right incentives.

Let me introduce you to Venova Adventure, a Pokémon mod that has its own creations, its own map, and a story that, in my opinion, is quite well-constructed for a fangame with a very loyal community. More than 12,000 members prove it, and I've played the game and seen how well they do it.
There are several animators here, and below I'm going to put a link to their Facebook page. There are people who do the designs, who recommend creatures just like I'm doing in this post, but there are people who actually have sprites in the game, dialogues they've written, and real animations that are part of the game. battle system

This is just one of them!
So I'm going to leave the group link below so you can take a look and see their work. I think they would be a great addition around here.

And with that, I think I'll wrap up my contribution for this year. There might be a new post in the new year if I finish one of the scripts I'm working on, but nothing is promised. Thanks for stopping by!
