Blending Monochrome Monday

Hi fellow Hiveians,
Today I wanted to share a few photos of different black and white scenes I've taken over the last few weeks!

Blending Monochrome Monday
Every so often, you have to do things a little differently!
This is one of the mantras that I've lived by for many years at this point. I have to change what I would LIKE to do, because things happen and it just makes more sense to be flexible and roll with it. What I am rolling with today is not having a fresh set of monochrome pictures ready for this week, so I wanted to flip back to some recent ones and mix it up a little bit!
The little man and I have been getting out and doing some pretty good exploring which is a lot of fun. This means that we get to have plenty of opportunities to take pictures, and he's even been bringing a little bit of a camera for himself so that's good. He has a bit of a passion for taking photos like I do! I guess he sees me do it enough.. haha
The challenge with that is that I've got lots of pictures stored on the old phone.. but haven't had time to sit down and transfer them all over. I do have to get that taken care of sometime this weekend, but it's not in the cards for me at the moment.
I do really enjoy taking a look back at some of the recent black and white photos we've taken though! I've said it before but it gives me some really good and fun memories to look back on. I tend to remember a decent amount of information about each photo that I've taken, although there are some that I have ZERO recollection of where the hell it was haha.
This recollection of the photo whereabouts and stuff is cool, it's a bit like my own internal brains metadata for the things it has stored! I've got a lot of shit floating up there, and it's funny that it takes a photo to bring the clearly stored information and details to the forefront. I wonder if that's a little bit of my own internal hack so to speak!
With the photos lately, there are for sure going to be a lot of water and flowers.. as you can clearly see in this post :D
We've been spending more time at the beach these past few weeks which is good, because we get that incredibly fresh and clean ocean air to heal the soul. This has been good because with that, there are a lot of scenes that I can take some photos of that I'll get around to getting transposed into some black and white photos.
A waterfall is a lot like the ocean in a lot of ways, with water being constantly moving and making noise. The foam of the waterfall is really cool with the last photo here, where it almost seems like its frozen even though it's in the height of summer! I wish this place was better fishing so that we would go there more.. but sadly the damn snapping turtles have ruined that for us! At least we get to visit every now and then so I can take some photos of the water :D
