If tomorrow you had to sleep clinically for 5 years to be cured of a disease, and after that time you woke up being the only one, or one of the few men on earth, how would you feel?

With this question I begin my post, because it is part of the main context of the story. Our protagonist wakes up in such a situation, and added to that, he is considered “a gem” the most valuable thing of humanity for being a man, and all women are eager to be with him. How crazy!

However, the plot is much deeper, which prompted me to keep watching and reading until the end, although I can't deny that it's loaded with sexual scenes, but there is an interesting issue to solve and that's where the protagonist shines so to speak.

The author LINK definitely wants to lead us to personal reflection, not just to entertain us with his extravagant story. But devising a world where for some men it would be a paradise and for others a complete nightmare is certainly very interesting.

I confess that I didn't really want to watch it, because I immediately considered it hentai, but I don't deny that I was caught by its crazy plot in the first chapter, and after more of the main story was revealed I was hooked, so I finished the anime and decided to read the manga to see how the story ends.

World’s End Harem: ¿Un paraíso o una pesadilla?

Si el día de mañana tuvieras que dormir clínicamente por 5 años para sanarte de una enfermedad, y luego de ese tiempo despertaras siendo el único, o uno de los pocos hombres sobre la tierra, ¿Cómo te sentirías?

Con esta interrogante comienzo mi post, porque es parte del contexto principal de la historia. Nuestro protagonista despierta en dicha situación, y añadido a eso, es considerado “una gema” lo más valioso de la humanidad por ser hombre, y todas las mujeres estan deseosas de estar con él. ¡Qué locura!

Sin embargo, la trama es mucho más profunda, lo cual me incito a seguirla viendo y leyendo hasta el final, aunque no puedo negar que está cargado de escenas sexuales, pero hay un asunto interesante a resolver y allí es donde el protagonista brilla por decirlo de alguna manera.

Reito Mizuhara es su nombre, y no tiene relaciones íntimas con ninguna de todas las mujeres que tiene a su disposición. Si bien hay 3 hombres más que hacen desastres y se entregan a la lujuria, la pregunta aquí es, ¿qué harías tú en dicha situación? Porque tener una cantidad de mujeres queriendo intimar contigo por fines reproductivos y de repoblación es una gran tentación.

Ahora bien, mis queridas lectoras, si estuvieran en una situación donde solo 5 hombres existieran, ¿Harían todo lo posible para estar con alguno de ellos? Hago estas preguntas porque el contexto de la historia nos lleva a pensar en este tipo de escenarios.

Particularmente pienso que hay fanservice xxx de más en la historia, y aunque no se considera del genero hentai está muy cerca de serlo. En ese sentido pienso que no tiene cabida para todo tipo de personas, sino para aquellas que quieran ver algo un poco inusual, una fantasía la verdad.

En la trama también hay mucho feminismo, las mujeres gobiernan el mundo, y asi como hay quienes aún reconocen la importancia del hombre (chicas buenas), también está la otra parte, aquella que desea la exterminación total del género masculino. De hecho, este grupo forma parte del equipo villano de la historia.

El autor LINK definitivamente nos quiere llevar a la reflexión personal, no es solo entretenernos con su historia extravagante. Pero idear un mundo donde para algunos hombres sería un paraíso y para otros una completa pesadilla, sin duda es muy interesante.

Les confieso que no tenía muchas ganas de verla, porque la considere hentai inmediatamente, pero no niego que fui atrapado por su trama loca en el primer capítulo, y después que se fue revelando más del asunto principal quede enganchado, asi que termine el anime y decidí leer el manga para ver cómo termina la historia.

No diré mas al respecto, si al final la humanidad sobrevive o perece, es algo que te animo a indagarlo por tu cuenta, la idea de esta publicación es animarte a ver la serie, y a leer el manga si aún no lo haces, pero si por el contrario ya lo has hecho, déjame tus impresiones en los comentarios.
