Gold I Unlocking Reward Cards at 3/26

Like I mentioned before, change is painful. I’ve seen a lot of players struggling because the rental market switched to season-long rentals. Their original strategy was simple—rent cheap cards for just two days, rack up as many wins as possible, and strategically lose matches to stay in an easier league. Their main goal was to earn $SPS, sell it for $DEC, and then rent cards again. As long as their rental costs were lower than their earnings, they would keep playing Splinterlands. But if they started losing money, they would quit.

Right now, though, the rental market is a mess. Many card rental prices are still uncertain, so a lot of rental-based players have decided to wait and see. But honestly, I believe that as long as there’s profit to be made, they’ll come back to Splinterlands.

I think their contribution to Splinterlands is mainly keeping battles active. But let’s be real—bots can do that too. I used to rent cards a lot to test their strengths, but I realized that after just a few battles, you pretty much figure out everything you need to know.

With new card packs being released, we really need to speed up and finish collecting the Reward Cards we need. And if you’re planning to play Survival Mode, you’ll need to prepare even more cards.
