Community members around the globe contributed some fantastic original tales this week, centred around the one true elixir of life- coffee! We enjoyed the passion in these posts, and as all good coffee pals do, we wanted to share a cup of them with you!

✨"I thought the roast would have a darker colour, so it was easy to imagine the flavour it would have. Contrary to what experts indicate, coffee in Cuba (or at least, in the countryside) is roasted with sugar in order to achieve an almost black colour when grinding, and then a much more bitter taste in the preparation.
I took out my mini coffee maker, which looks like something out of a doll's house set, and placed just the right measure to make a cup. I didn't need any more." @claudiocruz

As I tasted the first sip, I felt my body relax as good energy enveloped me. Coffee is the best antidote to talk and drain all the problems with friends or family... and what better if it's with your mother-in-law? and what better if it's with your mother-in-law! ✨"We ordered their best-selling "Caramel Macchiato" since it was my partner's favourite coffee, while I got their "Cappuccino". We chose a spot where we could talk freely about anything we wanted. ✨"My husband and I decided to have breakfast at the doorstep local coffee shop, the one just around the corner from our place. We’ve been coming to this little spot for as long as we’ve lived here. It’s just downstairs from our condo, so it’s kind of become our go-to; the coffee is good, kind people, and that cosy feeling you can’t explain. Somehow, it always feels a bit special. We didn’t even plan it. We woke up a little later as usual, the kind of slow morning where we don’t feel like cooking. Everything was very good, my husband did not regret accepting my proposal even though he did not like the fact that it was a coffee shop, so I took him to a candy store, knowing that they sell coffee there, hahahaha." @tibilopez
