The Art of Speaking: Unlocking the Power Within You!

Being able to speak beautifully is one of the most beautiful and effective human qualities. Very few of us are born with this quality. Yet look around, many have this special quality. How could they? A stuttering man keeping a marble under his tongue has been recognized as the best speaker ever in the world. Why not you?
It is possible to become an eloquent speaker through following some special special techniques, giving efforts and practicing regularly. First of all, keep yourself energized. Make sure that your confidence does not decrease.
To be a good speaker, you must stand or sit with your spine straight. Standing or sitting crooked during speaking will decrease your confidence. If you lean on something while speaking, the audience will become inattentive. The audience may think that you are not confident about what you are saying and trying to gain confidence by leaning anywhere. Scientifically proven that when you speak standing straight, air flows properly in your lungs and you can speak clearly in a cool brain. "Ever high is my head." It is very important to follow to grow courage when you deliver a speech.
Secondly, you need to read the minds of the listeners. The ability to speak focusing on the eyes of the audience will help you to do this. That's why, you sometimes need to give some interesting information so that they pay their attention. Talking loudly with confidence will also help you in this case. However, if you try to attract the audience by shouting loudly, it can be counterproductive Thirdly, pause little between words.
We sometimes nervous and start to talk very fast. If you want to be a smart speaker, try to avoid this. Take a deep breath and talk slowly. Then the audience will easily understand the topic. Talking with breaks is one of the best strategies to attract attention. You can listen to Martin Luther King's 'I Have a Dream' speech on YouTube which is also a part of our syllabus.
Fourthly, use correct, simple and conventional words and display body language accordingly. You can follow the gesture of great speakers. If you do not keep your body language right, the audience will not be attracted to your words. To be a good speaker, you must avoid the attitude of using unknown words. It does not make you smart and spoils the audience's attention. You can change your position instead of standing still while speaking on stage.
Then, give up the bad habit of coping from the script and saying the same thing over and over again. As well as learning the technique of expressing a same thing in different ways. The habit of talking to yourself in front of the mirror can help you in this case.
Finally, learn to change the loudness and pitch according to the sense of words. If you talk in the same way always, it will create a monotonous atmosphere and make the audience bored. To acquire this quality, you must speak slowly at the beginning of the speech and when giving new information. (If you try to get rid of the burden by saying something interesting at the beginning, it is an exception.) But highlight that quickly, when you summarize a topic. Do not forget one thing that you should never change the sound intensity so much that the audience gets embarrassed.
It is an art to be able to talk standing in front of others. It does not matter how creative you are, if you cannot explain it in front of people, it will be of no use. Like everyone else, I sometimes lose my temper because of the environment or habit. Are you facing the same problem?
