Weekend experienceless

Fifty percent into my weekend and to this point in time nothing has worked out as it was supposed to.

I had a plan to work around the house doing outside chores and meet with a friend later in the day for alate lunch and for a chat. The evening was going to be spent with some other friends playing board games and eating a nice meal we cooked together and I was looking forward to the chocolate cake one of my friends makes - it's her specialty and is delicious.

Tomorrow was going to be a game of tennis in the morning with my special lady and breakfast afterwards and the rest of the day was going to be some shopping at the mall because I need to start doing some Christmas shopping because waiting until it gets busy isn't my thing.

None of that happened though, I got sick.

It started on Friday and by this morning I had developed a fever which kept me in bed and on the couch in a lot of discomfort and feeling wretched. So, I've had an experienceless weekend and am feeling a little sorry for myself.
