Hive Hub in Bacolod..

Anyway, I wanted to chat about my luv for a smallish town in Philippines called Bacolod. It's located by Cebu, found in the Visayas.. the middle area of Philippines. I really like the weather, the scenery, the fresh air, of course the people (it has a really nice population density there, NOT like in the big metro areas) as well as it also has all the modern features and stuff too.. tons of restros, shops, malls, etc.

I went there twice so far. the first time was to go visit a fellow blogger back in 2018.. I was hooked. I met my good friend Michael there and have since made some more friends there that i'm eager to go see.

One of my favorite places to go and hang out for hours is the place called Tom n Toms. (think giant starbux) This cafe has 2 storeys and is full of your standard tables and chairs, but also sofas and lounge chairs (my favorit was the big, red one) and I wud go there about every other day. I remember how I luv luv the drink.. its like a blue, lemonade mixed with sprite and it was my goal to get back there after I got super sick.. just to drink that again. and I did it! I did get back to that exact same Tom n Toms just a few months later. :)

last I checked, a Tom n Toms franchise cost a few hundred thousand USD .. or is it half a mil? whatever.. its a little more than I have right now, so.. I guess I will just start small and make my own version of that, maybe more of a hiver heaven where I can go each day and just have everything I need or want to aid me as I hive on!

Who's gonna help me? I already have a few ppl I know who I can depend on, but feel free to comment if u live there also or if u just want to join me in my adventure.. I am thinking of a little (at first) shop/cafe where we (I) can live,.. sleep at night.. but during the days its just my passion to make it into the #1 spot for all Hivers to go and gather and learn and hang and have fun!

wait, what about the actual biz part and will there be customers? well, that just comes as an after effect of making such an awesome place. Here's my secret.. I know it might sound off the wall, but I really don't care about money at this point.. there is more to life. and NO, I am not rich.. far from it. I am just a disabled, unemployed guy from hawaii that will retire in Philippines now and will make it through hive and by growing PH by onboarding as many pinoys as I can. what will be the ripple effects of that? and who is gonna join me for the ride??
