La ciudad que me acoge, desde mi mirada, luce así, como estas imágenes. Aprovecho siempre los días más tranquilos para salir a la calle y disfrutar su mezcla de arquitectura ecléctica y colonial. Siempre digo que "La Tierra de la Piña" es pequeña, pero bonita.

No te voy a mentir, como toda Cuba, hay muchas estructuras en decadencia, esas no las mostré. Mi intención en este caso es que te enamores de mi lugar favorito de Ciego de Ávila, el Parque Marti.

El Parque Marti es un punto de referencia y bastante popular en la cultura del avileño. Todos los fines de semana se llena de gente que simplemente se sienta aquí a conversar o traen sus niños a patinar, montar bicicleta, etc.

Otra característica particular de Ciego, es que puedes caminar prácticamente toda la ciudad disfrutando de sombra, por debajo de sus portales, motivo por el cual también es conocida como La ciudad de los Portales.

The city that welcomes me, from my point of view, looks like this, like these images. I always take advantage of the calmest days to go out and enjoy its mix of eclectic and colonial architecture. I always say that "La Tierra de la Piña" is small, but beautiful.

I'm not going to lie to you, like all of Cuba, there are many structures in decay, those I did not show. My intention in this case is that you fall in love with my favorite place in Ciego de Avila, Parque Marti.

Marti Park is a landmark and quite popular in the culture of the avileño. Every weekend it is full of people who simply sit here to chat or bring their children to skate, ride bicycles, etc.

Another particular characteristic of Ciego is that you can walk practically the entire city enjoying the shade under its portals, which is why it is also known as the City of Portals.
