Gatín: A cat that isn't afraid of heights [ENG/ESP]

Greetings to everyone in the Hive Pets community! I hope you had a great weekend, and I'm joining you today to bring you another cat adventure. And this time, it couldn't be any other way than by bringing you "Gatín," the only male cat my mother has at home, whom I've introduced to the community on other occasions. Gatín isn't just another kitten; he's none other than the contemporary brother of my beloved cat Dio, born on the same day by his mother, Gatina. And yes, Gatina also lives at my mother's house with Gatín, but Dio lives with me. Luckily, Gatina is spayed, so there's no problem at all. Today, I'll tell you a little about the great Gatín.
¡Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Hive Pets! Espero que hayan tenido un gran fin de semana y yo, me uno el día de hoy para traerles otra aventura gatuna. Y en esta oportunidad no podría ser de otra forma que trayendo a "Gatín" el único gato macho que tiene mi madre en su casa y a quién he presentado en otra ocasión por aquí por la comunidad. Gatín no es solo un gatito más pues es nada más y nada menos que el hermano contemporáneo de mi querido gato Dio, siendo traído al mundo el mismo día por su madre, Gatina. Y sí, Gatina también vive en casa de mi mamá junto a Gatín, pero Dio vive conmigo. Por suerte Gatina está esterilizada, así que no hay problema alguno. Hoy les cuento un poco sobre el gran Gatín.
Gatín is a very serious cat, demanding when it comes to food, and from time to time, he gives you permission to pet him. I confess I have a weakness for tuxedo cats, which is why "Pepito" (one of the cats I recently adopted) is one of my favorites. Gatín was my favorite when he was born because he resembled the cat character from Pinocchio. Well, time has passed, but he no longer responds to that name, but to his own: Gatín. It cracks me up how my stepfather and mother call both cats (when they're going to eat, need them, or scold them), because they faithfully obey my parents. Besides, they didn't go out of their way to choose complex, overly meaningful, or original names, but giving them credit, I think their choice of names was the right one.
Gatín es un gato muy serio, exigente con respecto a la comida y de vez en cuando, te da el permiso para que le hagas cariño. Confieso que yo tengo una debilidad por los gatitos tuxedo, de allí que "Pepito" (uno de los gatos que adopte recientemente) sea de mis favoritos. Pues Gatín era mi favorito cuando nació pues se parecía al personaje del gato de Pinocho. Bueno, el tiempo pasó pero ya él no responde a ese nombre sino a su nombre: Gatín. A mí me da mucha risa cómo mi padrastro y mi mamá llaman a ambos gatos (cuando van a comer, los necesitan o les dan reprimiendad) pues ellos obedecen fielmente a mis papás. Además de que ellos no se dieron mala vida en elegir nombre complejos, significativos en extremo u originales, pero dándoles crédito yo creo que la elección de nombres fue la adecuada.
Gatín likes to be pampered, and since I recently arrived home, I've tried to have him by my side. And I think little by little I've earned it. I even notice because he stays with me when I'm in a certain part of the house. That happens when I go to the hammock outside on the patio. Today I found him on top of me, keeping me company, and I got a big scare because he was on the edge of a wall. The bad thing about that is that he climbs onto the edge of the house and feels like nothing, but a fall from that height will surely kill him. So it's difficult to control those scenarios since my parents' house is built that way and there's not much you can do about it. I think he's used to it, so he'll probably keep doing it. I just hope he's cautious. Gatín is ultimately my feline companion when I'm at my mom's house because he makes me feel better about not having my own pets around. Gatín le gusta ser un consentido y cómo yo llegué hace poco a casa, lo he tratado de tener a mi lado. Y creo que poco a poco me lo he ganado. Incluso lo noto porque se queda conmigo cuando estoy en cierta parte de la casa. Eso sucede cuando voy a la hamaca que está afuera en el patio. Hoy lo encontré arriba de mi, haciéndome compañía y me lleve un gran susto pues estaba al filo de un muro. Lo malo de eso es que el se monta en el muro límite de la casa y se sienta cómo si nada, pero una caída desde esa altura seguramente acaba con él. Por lo que es difícil controlar esos escenarios ya que la casa de mis papás está hecha de esa forma y no se puede hacer mucho al respecto. Él creo que está acostumbrado a eso, así que es probable que lo siga haciendo. Solo espero que sea cauteloso. Gatín es finalmente, mi compañero gatuno cuando estoy en casa mi mamá pues me hace sentir mejor contra el hecho de que no tengo mis propias mascotas cerca.
