TBT New Year with the family (ESP/ENG)

Hello #TBT Thursday pretty people Today I'd like to show you one of the New Year's parties we had a few years ago in the family. By this time I think we had not yet lost any of my sisters nor our father, the children and nephews had not yet emigrated, so they used to be more fun and enjoyable parties. For those occasions my only brother is in charge of decorating the house, as he inherited that passion for Christmas decorating from our mother, I like it too, but he seems to enjoy it on another level because he pays a lot of attention to the details, like the napkin rings and tablecloths on the table. There I am with my older sister (who has always been like our second mother).
Hola gente linda de los jueves de #TBT Hoy me gustaría mostrarles una de las fiestas de año nuevo que tuvimos hace algunos años en la familia. Para estos tiempos creo que aún no habíamos perdido a ninguna de mis hermanas ni tampoco a nuestro padre, los hijos y sobrinos aún no habían emigrado, así que solían ser fiestas más divertidas y disfrutables. Para esas ocasiones mi único hermano es el encargado de adornar la casa, pues él heredó esa pasión por la decoración navideña de nuestra madre, a mi también me gusta, pero él parece disfrutarlo a otro nivel porque pone mucha atención a los detalles, como los servilleteros y manteles de la mesa. Allí estoy yo con mi hermana mayor (quien siempre ha sido como nuestra segunda madre).
The family was spread all over the house, in the second living room you can even see some friends who always come every New Year to share with us that special moment as it is the welcome of a new year, there, next to my younger sister (in fuchsia blouse) was Tomas, the husband of our older sister and who was therefore like our second father, I will never forget his jocularity, his transparent personality and his unconditional love for the whole family, that's why we loved him so much and that's why we will always remember him.
La familia estaba repartida por toda la casa el el segundo salón incluso se puede ver a algunos amigos que siempre llegan cada año nuevo a compartir con nosotros ese momento especial como lo es el recibimiento de un nuevo año, allí, junto a mi hermana menor (de blusa fucsia) estaba Tomás, el esposo de nuestra hermana mayor y quien era por ende como nuestro segundo padre, jamás olvidaré su jocosidad, su personalidad tan transparente y su amor incondicional para toda la familia, por eso lo queríamos tanto y por eso siempre lo recordaremos.
And of course we could not miss the most fun and awaited moment of the night, the New Year's hug, all ready to embrace each other and to give the best wishes for this new stage. Definitely the family is a great blessing we can count on, it is a fundamental pillar that unites us and strengthens us in difficult times and accompanies us in moments of great happiness.
Y por supuesto no podía faltar el momento más divertido y esperado de la noche, el abrazo de año nuevo, todos dispuestos a abrazar a los demás y a darle los mejores de deseos para esa nueva etapa. Definitivamente la familia es una gran bendición con la que podemos contar, es un pilar fundamental que nos une y nos fortalece en los momentos difíciles y nos acompaña en los momentos de gran felicidad.
