Good morning Splinterfriends!!
I hope you've had an amazing week so far!! It has been insanely busy for me over the last few weeks myself...
Work, personal life, approaching burnout - and on top of it all... Conclave Arcana!
I haven't really had the energy, time or desire to post on Peak'd as much as I used to - or want to... Like... I do WANT to... but don't have the desire to do it... that may not make sense... but it's the best way I have to explain it.
However, this is where Discipline kicks in. I am making sure I publish the Land Report at the very least.
I apologize for not being able to write about what I want - the new #ConclaveArcana cards, combos, Conflicts and more... but I still try to put this out an give it 100%!
With that being said - let's get to it!!
Ok... almost ready - before we dive into the Lands of Praetoria... today is a bittersweet day for me...
You see... Over the last couple of years, I have been haphazardly growing my Land collection and sloppily putting workers on the Plots I do have...
However... @azircon - who gets a tag today, because I want to thank him for all the work he put in on LPE... Or Land Plot Efficiency.

Again - whether you are NEW to Splinterlands... New to SplinterLANDS or an OG who hasn't put in much effort to organizing your Lands... these articles should be a wakeup call as to how much DEC you're leaving on the table!
So... why is today so bittersweet??? I nuked my lands.
That's right - TOTAL RESET... UGHHHHHHHHH it's going to be a LONG THREE DAYS without any Land Production... but... this is what is necessary in order to increase my Efficiency and thus streamline my team into a High Speed, Low Drag, Grain Producing UNIT.
Anyways... I am off to the wilds of Praetoria to see what's been uncovered since our last expedition! Join me now, as we start the Land Update!
Previously on our Land Update, we finished at Plot 24 as our "Next Available Plot":
Last year, we saw an average of 1 Plot/Day Claimed/Surveyed with spurts of growth here and there! We've seen a slight acceleration in that pace and it didn't slow down with Conclave Arcana - I thought it would!
As you can see - right on pace for the 1 Plot/Day despite the insane amount of $$ flowing into CA currently!
Lets go check out what was Claimed and Surveyed in the last week since we were here 😄
As always we stop in at the last Plot we saw on our previous journey and today that means we start with...
Plot 23 is the Common Natty Swamp that @cherokee4life pulled and commented about - I didn't roast them too hard though 😅 Still no production on that one but I suspect they'll be focusing on their Grain Plots first!
Setting out from there, our first stop on our adventure today is...
Plot 24, which is a Rare Natural Swamp that was pulled by @albrecht1017 - nice work buddy! It seems Cherokee has my kind of luck... Rare Occupied before, Rare Natty After... what do we pull... Common Natty. #WompWomp... or should I say #SwampSwamp in this case
Right... I'll see myself out... yup... stick with the Land... no more puns... got it.
Plot 25 is our next stop and that is a Common Natural Bog that was Claimed and Surveyed by devonhdd - nice find Devon! I personally think Grain Lands are where its at!
Plot 26 is also another Common Natty Bog and this one was Claimed and Surveyed by @brodo-swaggins and they're keeping it because Grain Lands are still undervalued imo!
Plot 27 is a Common Occupied Swamp owned by Brodo and this one is up for sale on the market at $72 (floor)! Get you some creepy crawly swamp monsters!!
Plot 28 is OH HEY!! @cherokee4life back again and bagged another Common Natty Swamp! Dangit man - you're gonna get an Epic or Legendary soon!!!
Plot 29 is @bengiles coming in with another Common Natty Swamp and this means we are coming up on the final Plot of the week!!!
Plot 30 is bengiles going back to back with Common Natty Swamps! That'll close us out for today... be sure to check back in next week for the next Land Update to see what has been uncovered!!

The release of Conclave Arcana and Midnight Potions gave these resources a "Use-Case" and thus the demand for them was IMMENSE during the Pre-Sale and Pack Opening! Things are cooling off for now... but with the promo for Yaba's Pickle right around the corner... WHO KNOWS what will happen to Resource and Midnight Potion prices!!
Grain fell to 125 Grain/DEC or 7.957 DEC per Kilo of Grain... but with the massive Grain shortfalls across Praetoria, I expect this to turn around... at some point... while it is still better than the 168 Grain/DEC ATL, I hope to see it back < 100 Grain/DEC but who knows how long that will be!
My personal focus is still on Grain Production... with a small amount of additional raw material as well... but who knows if that strategy will pay off!!
Wood fell almost 10% down to 36 Wood per DEC but it still seems to be sticking close to the PP Based Metrics...
PP Based Pricing Metrics are 4:1 Grain:Wood so if we measured prices with our PP's then Wood should be trading at roughly 4 x 7.957 DEC or 31.828 DEC per Kilo, so Wood is now trading about 10% under PP Metrics for 27.709 DEC/Kilo!
The Price of Stone perked up against DEC despite another broader market pullback. Today we see Stone trading at 6.53 Stone per DEC which is still really high vs the PP Metric... be cautious of a large drop in price over the next couple of weeks...
PP Based Metrics are 10:1 Grain:Stone so a PP based price would have Stone priced at 7.957 so Stone at 153.141 DEC per Kilo means we appear to be in "overbought" territory by almost 2x... but these are technically "emerging markets"... annnnnd this is all just guess work anyways lol
This is certainly not financial advice as I am literally tracking the economies of a VIDEO GAME but hey, here's the data, I hope it helps 🤷♂ (At least we're not Eve Online aka Spreadsheets Galore)
Iron prices dipped a further 1.31% against DEC but keep in mind Iron is the hardest Resource to acquire, requiring a LOT of effort to extract it. Grain has a .02PP Requirement whereas Iron is .0005 or 40X harder to Mine! Will this transfer a premium to Iron? Who knows! But I'll be keeping my eyes on it!!
PP Based Price Metrics put Iron at 40:1 Grain:Iron so that would mean if Grain:DEC is trading at 7.957 DEC per Kilo of Grain, then Iron should be 318.28 DEC per Kilo or so but it has dipped to below PP Price and is currently just shy of 287.838 DEC per Kilo so that seems like it fell right past PP Metrics and is about 10% under PP value.

Hey look! They got their own section!! This is a simple breakout highlighting whether or not a Resource is trading Over/Under their PP Based Price. Perhaps it will act as a Market Indicator to let us know if a resource is Under/Overvalued at present????
Here's another handy dandy chart - I think aggroed and others are posting something super similar to this as well so I love having more than one person looking at this data!
