Smithys Bullion : Dragons

If you're a bit of a nerd like me then Fantasy is one of your favorite genres and when it comes to Mythical Creatures it is the Dragon that is top of the food chain. I've been posting about the creations of Smithys Bullion and he has a good collection of Dragons that he's done with Investment Casts and I think they are super impressive.

Here is three little baby dragons with various different finishing. From raw pour on the left to toning and patina moving right. They look like Chinese style dragons so would be great little good luck charms to have on show.

A fearsome dragon with wings spread, this is another incredibly detailed piece and quite difficult to cast because of the wings. There would simply be no other way to create something like this without using an Investment Cast. One of his best IMHO.

The same dragon from the other side so you can see his barbed curly tail. Not a dragon to be messed with!

This one is the Ouroborus Dragon Statue. I thought the Ouroborus was typically a Snake eating itself but after a little searching I see that they can be Dragons too. This very cool piece is 4 oz of 999 silver and was recently auctioned on the
for a bargain price of $382 AUD (about $252 USD) which was significantly under retail.Smithys Bullion often sells his wares on the Silveroos site so if you are interested in his work then check the site out.
