The menu for my knitting group's Christmas lunch. It's been a job getting a date that everyone can do, especially as it's not on a Monday, our usual meeting day.

There was lots of discussion about whether we should eat in the village or somewhere else. The New Inn is opposite where we meet in the Library, it has lovely food, I was glad the decision was to have lunch there.

It's been a busy day today tidying up and sorting out, not really reflected in the number of steps. Lots of carrying things up and downstairs, finding homes for new things like the curtains I bought yesterday. Funny, I've curtains for every room, just need the building work done now.

It's been a right gusty day, windy and raining. Storm Bert is putting us through our paces. I hope it's calmer tomorrow, better for driving.
