Vojvodina Cup Final: Vrbas Triumphs in Kačarevo

Hello friends!
In a fantastic atmosphere created by the home supporters, last season’s finalists met once again in the Vojvodina Cup final. A year earlier in Vrbas, Leteći Holanđanin had emerged victorious, and history repeated itself in Kačarevo.
Backed by a vocal home crowd, the Kačarevo side delivered another strong performance, but the visitors proved superior in the second half and secured a convincing win. The match started explosively, as Filip Đurković lifted the crowd to its feet just three minutes in with a stunning long-range goal for the home team.
Despite the early setback, the visitors controlled much of the play and created several chances, only to be denied repeatedly by outstanding goalkeeper Mateja Dodevski. However, following a well-executed attack, Lazar Radanović scored twice in quick succession to level the score.
In the second half, Radović gave the visitors the lead, and only minutes later Draganić extended their advantage. In the final four minutes, the home side opted to play with an extra outfield player instead of a goalkeeper, which proved costly. Andrej Šmit capitalized, scoring twice in the final minute to seal the result.
The winning trophy and a prize of 75,000 dinars were presented to Radović by match delegate Boris Pravilović, while Kačarevo captain Goran Stojanovski received the runner-up trophy along with a 25,000-dinar check.
