What Was The Occupation Of Jesus Christ Before His Ministry? ~ MCGI Topic Review.

There is a saying that “heaven helps those who helps themselves” and that’s just true. If you do not work, there will be no way that you can feed yourself and your family so you have to work.
For those who have studied that Bible very well and are familiar with the story of days of Jesus on earth, they will realize that Jesus Christ was a carpenter. Even though he may or might know that he is blessed with the holy spirit, he still decided to work.
The truth is that if Jesus Christ had chosen not to work during his days on earth, he won’t work because he is the beloved of God and in one way or the other, God will give him what to eat through the people around him. At least, I’ve seen pastors who do not work and all that the depend on is what their church members give to them.
But, this is not the legacy that Jesus Christ laid down for people. The gospel is not meant to be bought nor meant to be paid for. The gospel is free and any pastor does not have the right to ask church members to pay for his sermons or gospel. And, in the days of Jesus Christ, there was no part of the Bible that said that Jesus Christ collected money from his listeners or his apostles.
If Jesus Christ had a job during his days, as a pastor, you should have your job too. This is a simple logic and I feel we do not really have to go spiritual about the whole thing.
As a pastor, if your church member decides to gift you, it is a good one but do not ask especially when it feels like you are asking them to pay you for your sermons.
