Hello everyone, friends. I am writing the first promotional and travel article of 2023. So I'm a little excited. Hopefully, in 2023, we will discover many new natural wonders and visit historical places. I leave all responsibility in this matter to @bilginselcuk. He's much more successful at exploration and travel than I am. On the other hand, I think we make a good couple when we travel, as I have an interest in historical backgrounds and knowledge in general. 😊♥️

Herkese merhaba arkadaşlar. 2023'ün ilk tanıtım ve gezi postunu yazıyorum. Bu yüzden ister istemez biraz heyecanlıyım. Umarım 2023'te birçok yeni doğa harikası keşfedip, tarihi yerler gezeriz. Today I will tell you about the beautiful Karaoğlu Mosque and the tombs in front of it. This is a very famous mosque in Birgi Village. When we saw the outside of the mosque, we realized that it was a historical building and immediately started to examine it. As we read from the information board in front of the mosque, this mosque was built in 1782 by Karaoğlu Mustafa Efendi. In other words, it is a historical mosque of about 250 years. There was a domed fountain in the courtyard of the Karaoğlu Mosque. However, what is more interesting and attracts our attention is the presence of a treasure thought to belong to the Karaoğlu dynasty in the courtyard of the mosque. I don't think there will still be a treasure here after posting this information here, but it's clear that people's attention has been drawn. 🙂

Bugün sizlere güzel Karaoğlu Cami'sinden ve önündeki mezarlardan bahsedeceğim. Burası Birgi Köyü'nde oldukça ünlenmiş bir cami. Caminin dış cephesini görünce tarihi bir yapı olduğunu anlayıp hemen incelemeye başlamıştık. Caminin önündeki bilgilendirme panosundan okuduğumuz kadarıyla bu cami 1782 yılında Karaoğlu Mustafa Efendi tarafından yapılmış. Yani yaklaşık 250 yıllık tarihi bir cami. Karaoğlu Caminin avlusunun içinde kubbeli bir şadırvan vardı. Ancak daha ilginç olan ve bizim de oldukça dikkatimizi çeken şey cami avlusunda Karaoğlu sülalesine ait olduğu düşünülen bir hazine varmış. Bu bilgiyi buraya yazdıktan sonra şu an burada hâlâ bir hazine bulunacağını pek zannetmesem de insanların dikkatini çektiği aşikar. 🙂🪙

Although its exterior is made of rubble stone, it has remained intact for years and has attracted attention with its appearance. As it is written on the information board, there were colorful writings and different structures inside the mosque. We wanted to see the inside of the mosque as well, but since there were worshipers inside, we did not go inside so as not to disturb them.🕌

Dışı moloz taştan yapılmış olmasına rağmen senelerdir sapasağlam ayakta kalmış ve görüntüsüyle de dikkat çekiyordu. Bilgilendirme panosundan yazdığı kadarıyla caminin içinde renkli yazılar ve değişik yapılar varmış. Caminin içini de görmeyi çok istedik ancak içeride ibadet yapanlar vardı, onlar rahatsız etmemek için içeri girmedik. 🕌

There were also tombs in the garden that we think belong to the Karaoğulları dynasty. We couldn't read the reasons because there were old period writings on it. The tombs were quite old, only the part where their names were written remained on the ground and the corpses of the tombs were completely buried.⚰️🪦

Bahçenin içinde karaoğulları sülalesine ait olduğunu düşündüğümüz mezarlar da vardı. Nedenlerin üstünde eski dönem yazıları olduğu için haliyle okuyamadık. Mezarlar oldukça eskiydi, sadece isimlerini yazıldığı kısım toprak üzerinde kalmış mezarların gövdeleri ise tamamen gömülmüş durumdaydı.⚰️🪦

The garden of the mosque was also very clean and colorful. There were even different flowers that I saw here for the first time. If anyone knows their names, they can write it 🌺🌼🌸 There were fruit trees in the garden too. Ripe pomegranates, tangerines and olive trees added color to the landscape. The bench at the foot of an old tree, with the flowers around it, looked nostalgic and beautiful, as if it had come out of a postcard. Caminin bahçesi de oldukça temiz ve renkliydi. Hatta burada ilk kez gördüm değişik çiçekler vardı. İsimlerini bilen varsa yazabilir 🌺🌼🌸 bahçede meyve ağaçları da vardı. Olgunlaşmış narlar, mandalinalar ve zeytin ağaçları manzaraya renk katıyordu. Yaşlı bir ağacın dibindeki bank, etrafındaki çiçeklerle adeta kartpostallardan fırlamışcasına nostaljik ve hoş duruyordu.
