"The Charm of Beautiful Wings: The Challenge of Photographing Danaus genutia and Appias libythea"

This is the first time I have managed to photograph two types of butterflies this close, and it feels amazing! In this moment, I managed to capture Danaus genutia, also known as Plain Tiger, and Appias libythea, often referred to as Striped Albatross. Both of these butterflies have very captivating beauty, but of course, photographing them is not an easy matter, especially with only a cellphone camera.
Butterflies are known to be very aggressive in their flight. It takes extra patience to be able to approach them, especially when they are actively moving. For Danaus genutia, I was very lucky to be able to capture the moment when it fully spread its wings.
The bright orange color combined with the black and white pattern on its wings creates such a beautiful and stunning sight. I was truly mesmerized seeing it from this close.
Meanwhile, Appias libythea is no less challenging. Despite its smaller size, its movements are so agile. However, I finally managed to catch it in a resting position on the green leaves. The white pattern with soft yellow accents on its wings looks so elegant, reflecting the calming beauty of nature.
This trip was a very valuable photography experience for me. Moments like this taught me to stay patient and focused, especially when photographing small, charming creatures like butterflies. It felt really satisfying when I finally managed to get the photo I wanted.
