Are Business Trainings Necessary for Establishing Business

In Ghana starting a business could be one of the most challenging thing because of lack of training on How to Start a particular business.

There is a saying that, everyone can start a business but not everyone can be successful . So in order for us to be successful there are some key things that we ought to know before we can implement whatever idea we’ve developed.
Training is what most people lack because everyone doesn’t seems to care about it and we are living in an era where we live in each one for himself Gods for us all.

***Sometime ago, the Business Advisory center a place where I work did a research about why business collapse in Ghana after a short period of time. The findings was mainly improper planing and thinking everyone can do any business. This was done after the Covid Outbreak where most businesses collapsed as a result of the pandemic.****
Though the government of Ghana gave out some relief funds to some businesses but that wasn’t enough because of What I will say Training.
Individual were not trained as to how to run their business in difficult circumstances but rather they were allowed to do things on their own and resulted in collapse of most businesses.

In an attempt of addressing this issue, the office have intensified its Training programs where individuals who intend of running a business are trained and equipped with the necessary skills in sustaining their business in times of difficulties or challenges.

Today, was such a great day for most youth that seeks to establish their own business.
Firstly we introduced them to How to Develop a business Idea.
Some questions one needs to ask before starting up a business like, what problem does my business seeks to address? The environment I’m setting up my business and my target customers.
We used the lean model Canvas to develop a simple business plan and of course the participants really enjoyed the class today.
It was just a lecture but an engagement class, participants were allowed to share their thoughts and experiences on what they also know about business development.

I personally think after this training, we would have people who will have another business idea to add up to what they already have in mind.
They did some small presentation in group and you could realized this training have really achieved something great already. The kind of ideas they were able to generate was just remarkable.
We are all in the same van, sometimes we seems to know it all until things start to prove itself. Being in hive is just like starting a business and with proper guidance and training we can be consistent and better contribute much to the platform but sometimes we lack simple things. We don’t seems to learn but we just want to make it, of course that’s not how principles of life works.

We learn to learn.
