A walk of memories.

Returning to certain places brings back memories of new times lived, memories that will never be erased because they represent a new stage of life.
A few days ago I went on several walks, walks along paths I walked at the beginning of my life here in Spain. I wanted to recreate some moments. Soon it will be seven years since I arrived, exactly on the 13th of June it will be seven years, how much has happened in that time.
As I was saying, I wanted to recreate the first streets I walked through during the first week of my life here, and take pictures of spaces, of things that caught my attention. I did several of those walks and this time I focused on very specific things.
How could I not remember the first supermarket where I bought some groceries, the map, my best friend, guided me to that place.
But in the three street walk to get there I could admire these balconies, I love old balconies and those with huge windows.
On the same route I could see the Cervantes theatre, I found it majestic. It was located very close to the first hotel where I stayed.
The surrounding streets were not very picturesque, but it all looked wonderful to me.
I always looked up to discover these beautiful buildings, with their large windows. I will tell you that besides being a fan of the street lamps, I am also a fan of the old windows.
Walking a little further, a sign announces to me the proximity of Picasso's birthplace. I remember the day I found out that this house was on the corner, I felt very excited.
This sign is right in front of the Plaza de la Merced, always changing, always full of people or with its street market, but always emblematic.
Just a few steps away and crossing the street I can already see different shops in the historic centre prepared especially for tourists, showing the most characteristic of Andalusia.
I thought and remembered how many times I had walked down this street, now renovated, where I could see the access ramp to the gardens of the castle, looking at the place is always pleasant.

I also remembered that when I arrived I called it the city paradise and shortly after this ramp they placed these inscriptions naming Malaga as the city paradise.

The cathedral always greets me, I always like to pass by and see its beautiful and magical façade. It is too beautiful.
Continuing on my way the building of the first university was one of the buildings that made the biggest impact on me because of its old, stone construction and how well preserved it is.
There are always flowers around me and even more in spring, the green city I call it.
The roundabout with the sculpture of the Three Graces has also been renovated since I arrived.
I crossed through the middle of the Pedro Luis Alonso gardens, now with their rosebushes in bloom and the sun at the top.
I love walking along these little paths amidst the exquisite design of these gardens.
And even more so when there are water fountains, which, although small, are beautiful.

When they are bigger, even better, I like to take pictures from different angles.
And right behind me was the main building of the city's town hall. It was a walk through points that are engraved in my memory and are important.
The carriages are always ready to give a ride to the tourists and why not to the locals as well.

Malaga the city of art, where there are always excellent street artists as in this case, where I could see beautiful caricatures.
You know I always look at the sky, I look at the clouds when they look like cotton pompoms, I love them and even more when the trees want to reach them.

I have walked this path of palm trees with their shadows both in the bright sunlight and at night and it has always been an interesting path.
The lighthouse in the distance, with the perfect clouds, the first place I fell in love with when I arrived, will always be in my mind.
It has been a walk of memories, perhaps because that special date of a new birth is approaching. I suppose there will be more such walks until that time comes.
There is no better way to end a good walk than with a delicious coffee, my favourite is called sombra.
Thank you so much for joining me on today's walk. I send you a big hello. See you soon.
Amonet.
