School Open House Event

Hi, I am Arveno from Surabaya city. In this content i want to share about Open house event in my son's school. The purpose of this event is give opportunites to prospective students to try in school class and looking the situation on this school. And also this event will make some student get ability to work in team and having creativity to exploring and making something. This event actually held every year. And lets see what kind of event this year. I think this year will be different because my son already at Elementary grade. And the floor is different with when he in kindergarten. And the game type also different. Some of the games are dexterity and kinda brain challenging.

When i entry from the main gate i kinda surprised by this mini garden layout here. Kinda neat and lush there. Great job to make this school beautifull. I dont know this mini garden will be permanent or just because this event only.

This is the decoration at Kindegarten area. And this is where my wife works. I think she is working with her collagues to make those decoration. Simple but yet so fun. Not too crowded and neat. Very lovely. The important is there is space for the kid running around.

And since right now my son being placed in different place. I dont know which class is he in. So, right now he will be tour guide in this school. He starting to explain which way that usually he took when going to class,which one his class, and also which one the shortcut to go to his area. I dont realize that he grow so fast. I still remember when he still crying with low voice and sleeping in my chest while i lay down.

And this is the hallway to go to elementary grades. And 1st elementary grades places at the corner of the building. They placed there because it the closest place to hallway to go down.

The first event started. They invited clown to make this place merrier. This will make the kids will stay at Kindergarten area and the older kid can prepared in the top. I dont know very well what its look like in the upper class since my son still join in this clown event. And thats why i wathing over him for a while and cannot going anywhere.

This clown event took around 45 minutes. And i am kinda tired standing and watching out this event. I dont know i kinda bored looking this kind of event. LOL. Maybe for the kid this is fun.

After the event done, then my son need to registrate to get cards. The cards is explain what place we need to visit and doing something there and after participate then the area will stamp on the paper. And if all the place got stamped, then my son can exchange the card for some souvenir.

After hearing souvenir, my son kinda excited and want to finish all ASAP. And since he is already at Elementary grades, right now the parents cannot entry the class to accompany the kids. So, the parents waiting outside class while the kid finishing the quest inside the class.

He also trying to make some kind of robotic from toys like lego. I think this kind of robot made from gear and some kind of battery but the outer layer and body is made by toys like lego.

After some time and my son cannot finished the robot he just want to get the stamp. And luckily he got the stamp even he did not finish the robot. At least the teacher know that my son already tried it and i think my son age is not qualified for making those robot.

So, after he done all the quest, he exchange the paper to get souvenir that is keychain. LOL. But, when i asked him how about this day. He said he got so much fun. And FYI i dont capture all the moment since mostly i just waiting outside class. And when we are walking around to find the class i dont hold my phone since i want to enjoy my time with my son. Overall we spend almost half of a day in school. Mostly my son playing and running around meanwhile me just following him whenever he go and to be an ATM for him if he want to buy drinks and food. But overall this event kinda great. But, i think they need to reduce the game or the quest that money involved. Some of higher grades need to pay with real money to just play.
