Searching For Mushrooms Under The Snow
1 comment

Greetings, friends
The day before yesterday, I told you that there is still no snow in our area, but by all indications, it should be. I remembered my son's birthday in 2002. My history turned out to be things.
It started snowing at 7 o'clock yesterday morning, and now I can say that it has been snowing all day. But yesterday morning, I didn't know about it yet, so I just went for a walk in the woods with my dog. My goal was to find mushrooms. A week ago, people were discussing on local social media that you can still pick a lot of edible mushrooms in the forest. And it's amazing.
I was away from home for 5 days, and therefore, no one walked the dog. You just can't imagine how happy she was that we were going for a walk. As my son says, she's just crazy; she rushes through the forest like a violent wind, like a hurricane. But sometimes she catches something in the air and starts sniffing. By the way, traces of small rodents and mice were visible on the fresh snow.
Hey, mushrooms, where are you? 3 weeks ago, there were a lot of them in this place.
While walking, I used a Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 DC HSM lens. I rarely use it, but I really like it for landscape and macro photography. But the main reason he was with me on the walk was because I had taught my daughter how to take pictures the day before. She took my camera to school to take photos of her classmates. I decided that this lens would be more useful for her in low-light conditions indoors.
I found 3 small mushrooms. I can say that I have fulfilled my mission: The dog went for a walk, and I found mushrooms. It was the beginning of the day, and I had a busy day ahead of me. And "the snow did not know and fell." These are the words from an old Soviet song.
Well, it really snowed all day. At 3 p.m., my son and I started cooking meat and vegetables on the grill and smoking fish.
I mean, I didn't expect such a snowfall. The snowfall ended this morning, but it became much colder than it was yesterday. I saw -6 degrees Celsius on the thermometer.
Tomorrow morning, my son and his family are leaving for their home in the North.
The holiday is over, and everyday life has begun again.
Winter has come to us.
Friends, goodbye! Until the next walk.
