Exodus 14:15 says, 'The Lord said to Moses, "Why do you cry to Me? Tell the people of Israel to go forward!"

This was a period of fear for the Israelites when they got to the Red Sea, because there was no way to move forward.

I have learnt something about God when He says "move," He means every bit of that word, because He's already taken care of the way you'll tread upon before He tells you to move.

Moving forward in 2026 is actually a choice one must be intentional about because it has to do with trusting God's plan, even when the path ahead seems uncertain. It's about having faith that He'll part the waters, just like He did for the Israelites.

It's about stepping out in obedience, even when fear tries to hold you back. For me, moving forward in 2026 means embracing new opportunities, letting go of past hurts, and believing that God has a brighter future in store.

As I step into this new year, I'm reminded that God's got a plan to prosper me, not to harm me. He's got a plan to give me hope, a future, and a life that's filled with purpose, because His plans for me is of good and of evil to give me an expected end. I'm not moving forward based on my own strength or abilities, but on the power of God that works within me. I am empowered! I'm moving forward with the knowledge that He'll make a way where there's no way, and that His presence will go before me, making straight the path. He has promised me that surely goodness and mercy shall "follow me" all the days of my life...

In 2026, I'm choosing to focus on the possibilities, not the obstacles. I'm choosing to trust God's goodness, even when circumstances seem tough. I'm choosing to believe that He's able to do exceedingly abundantly above all I can ask or think. As I move forward, I'll hold onto faith, hope, and love which are the three things that will guide me through the journey. With God on my side, I'm unstoppable. I'm unshakeable. I'm moving forward, and nothing can stop me! Glory to Jesus!
