Free Graded Readers for Learning Spanish, French, German, English

As a former Spanish teacher and mama homeschooling her kids living in Panama, learning Spanish is something that is important to our family. I am always looking for ways to engage my kids more and facilitate their learning of the language.

I was watching this video with my kids this morning about reading in Spanish. She recommended a website where you can print off free readers of different levels in Spanish, so I had to check it out!

I was surprised to see that the readers are available in Spanish, French, German, and English! I'll definitely be checking out the books to see if they will work for my kids! I also love that it's free to download and print off the books.

. In Spanish there are 5 readers for level 1, 4 readers for level 2, and 1 reader for level 3! This is great because I can find books online (like on Libby library app), but I don't necessarily know that level they are. This site takes out the guesswork, and I'm hopeful it will work well for us.

If you're looking for a Spanish Youtube channel, check out Organic Spanish. I like her because she isn't a native speaker, but her Spanish is great. She speaks slowly and has a lot of examples. She does lessons that are applicable, like driving a car - Now, I put the key in the ignition, I turn the key, I look in the mirror, etc.
