Hello, happy Thursday everyone! It's been a while since I posted a #tbt, and I wanted to take advantage of the special date—my granddaughter's birthday a couple of days ago—to share a look back at her 14 years.

I have so many photos of my princess, Amy Alexandra, from when she was born until now, and the last photo was from her most recent birthday. It's wonderful to see how she's changed, how she's grown, and how beautiful she gets every day. She tells me, "Grandma, I'm still a baby," hahaha.

Being far away makes me sad. I haven't seen her in person for eight years, but we communicate constantly. These are things that technology has given us these days, and it's a blessing, because otherwise it would be impossible to see each other so often, even if it's just through a screen.

One of my favorite photos is when her first tooth came in; she looked so cute! Right now she's so tall she's surpassed her mom and is almost as tall as her dad, and my son is tall too! She definitely takes after him in height, although everyone says she's his clone.

In this collection of photos I put together of her, she appears with her dad, her little brother, her mom, Aunt Rosita, and me. These pictures were taken in El Tigre, Anaco, Cumaná, Maturín, and Lima (Peru), where they live now.

Time has flown by so fast. Just a few years ago our princess was tiny and we always carried her in our arms; now she's a young lady.

I hope to God I can be with her when she turns 15. It's a big wish of mine, and I have hope that the Universe will conspire to make it happen.

Hola, feliz jueves para todos. Hace tiempo que no publico algún #tbt, y quise aprovechar la fecha especial con motivo del cumpleaños de mi nieta que fue hace un par de días, para compartirles un recorrido por sus 14 añitos.

De mi princesa Amy Alexandra tengo muchísimos registros fotográficos, desde que vino al mundo, hasta la actualidad, y la última foto fue de este cumpleaños más reciente. Es maravilloso observar sus cambios, cómo ha crecido, y lo hermosa que se va poniendo cada día. Ella me dice: “Abuela, yo sigo siendo una bebé”, jajajajaja.

Tenerla lejos me causa tristeza, tengo 8 años sin verla en físico, pero nos comunicamos constantemente. Son cosas que la tecnología nos ha brindado en estos tiempos, y es una bendición, porque de lo contrario sería imposible vernos tan seguido así sea por una pantalla.

Una de las fotos que me gustan más, es cuando le salió su primer dientito, se veía tan chistosa. Ahorita está tan alta que sobrepasó a su mamá y casi alcanza a su papá, y eso que mi hijo es alto. Definitivamente, en la estatura salió a él, aunque todos dicen que es su clon.

En esta colección de fotos que recopilé de ella, aparece con su papá, su hermanito, su mamá, la tía Rosita, y yo. Son imágenes tomadas en El Tigre, Anaco, Cumaná, Maturín, y en Lima (Perú), donde viven ahora.

El tiempo ha transcurrido muy rápido, apenas hace unos pocos años nuestra princesa estaba pequeñita y la llevábamos siempre en brazos, ya es toda una señorita.

Espero en Dios poder estar junto a ella cuando cumpla sus 15 años, es un deseo muy grande, y tengo la esperanza de que el Universo va a conspirar para que así sea.
