"My Mom Is in the ICU: We Need a Miracle and Financial Help"

Hi everyone,
I’m writing this with a weighty heart. My mom is in the ICU right now, and we’re going through the hardest time of our lives. I still can’t believe this is real. One moment, she was with us here in Malaysia, and last year she went back home in the Philippines on her birthday, April 4, she just celebrated her 55th birthday this month, and the next, she was in a hospital bed, hooked up to machines, fighting for her life. She had got mild stroke when my Father passed away in 2021, Then I asked her to come here in Malaysia she recovered her body. We only know she has high blood pressure, but the doctor said she is also diabetic. She doesn’t like to go to the doctor and get checked, so now we find out. During her more than a week in the hospital, even do it’s a government hospital, all Filipinos know that everything is not free; whatever the patient uses must buy their own. we trying our best to cover the expenses, but every day the doctor gives a prescription to buy.


It all happened so fast. She started having trouble breathing and feeling sick. according to my youngest sister, they rushed her to the hospital, and within hours, doctors told us she had a severe infection that spread through her body. They moved her to the ICU and put her on life support. It’s been terrifying watching her lie there, unable to speak or open her eyes. The doctors are doing everything they can, and we are praying every second for her to pull through. There are small signs of hope, and we’re holding onto that with everything we have. We believe in miracles, I really praying despite my mom, my 4 years old son just recovery on his operation on his legs bone socket, but when we follow up check up just today the doctor informed us that they need to do again the operation on May 9, I don’t know what I will think or do first, my hurt full of worry and very pain my son and my mom is going true all this, and specially my mother huhuhu.

While we’re dealing with all this emotionally, we’re also facing something else that’s incredibly hard: the cost of it all. ICU care is expensive. Every day adds up medications, tests, treatments, and she has no insurance or anything. Our family is trying our best, but we just can’t keep up. That’s why I’m reaching out and asking for help. This isn’t easy for me, we’re not used to asking for anything. But right now, we don’t have a choice. We want to give my mom every chance to survive and recover. Any amount you can give will go straight to her medical bills and care. Even any amount can make a difference. And if you can’t donate, please keep her in your prayers and share this with others. That alone helps more than you know. If you’ve ever met my mom, you know how kind and selfless she is. And even if you haven’t, I hope you can feel her spirit through these words. She’s someone who would help anyone in need, no matter what. Now it’s her turn to receive that same love and support. We’re scared, we’re tired, and we’re holding on with all we have. But we also still have hope, hope in her strength, in the doctors, and the kindness of others.
