Living on an island gives you an exquisite variety of beaches to visit.
Although our culture is very rich, if there is one thing that truly represents us, it is our beaches. They are more than just salt water and sand: they are a connection with nature, bonds that you forge with family, friends, or even strangers with each visit.
It is the place in the world where I feel most like myself.
This beach is Pampatar, which means “salt town” in the Guaiquerí indigenous language. This corner of the world gives me peace and a deep sense of belonging. In a way, it becomes my therapy.
I am an islander, and the beach connects me to my culture and represents me. Our survival, work, and customs are closely linked to the sea, fishing, and how creative you can be with the resources it provides.
So, if you visit us, you will find crafts, paintings, sculptures, and more with a marine theme. In addition, our fish and seafood are always fresh.

Vivir en una isla te da una variedad exquisita de playas por visitar.
Aunque nuestra cultura es muy rica, si hay algo que realmente nos representa, son nuestras playas. Son más que agua salada y arena: son conexión con la naturaleza, lazos que estrechas con familia, amigos o incluso desconocidos en cada visita.
Es el lugar en el mundo donde me siento más yo.
Esta playa es la de Pampatar, que significa “pueblo de sal” en lengua indígena Guaiquerí. Este rincón del mundo me genera paz y un profundo sentido de pertenencia. De alguna forma, se vuelve mi terapia.
Soy una isleña, y la playa me conecta con mi cultura y me representa. Nuestra supervivencia, trabajo y costumbres están muy ligadas al mar, la pesca, y a lo creativo que puedes ser con los recursos que te brinda.
Así que, si nos visitas, te vas a encontrar con artesanías, cuadros, esculturas y más con temática marina. Además, nuestros pescados y mariscos siempre son frescos.
