A Walk To The Beach.

It's a sunny Wednesday over here and I am glad to share with you my walk to the beach to unwind for a moment as it's been a hectic week so far.
It's funny how the weather suddenly changed from a cold Tuesday to a very sunny Wednesday, well I love the warmth so much.
I have always enjoyed virtual tours of this beautiful community and got inspired so many times by @borjan on his amazing shots so today I decided to be very intentional about my shots too, to share with you all how my day is going.
I left the house at about 1 pm and booked a ride to the beach, this beach is quite far from my house and the last time I visited this particular beach was about three years ago as there are several beaches which are closer to my home, you know what we do for. a change when we get tired of a particular thing or resort? That's what I did and thankfully a friend whose house was close to that beach joined me halfway through the journey.
So join me as I take you around on this beautiful virtual tour.
I got fascinated by this beautiful bridge on our way to the beach which is called the Baji Bridge and I managed to take a shot of it, this bridge is a demarcation from one particular village to another.
You can the canoes, these are villagers on the canoe either fishermen or whatever.
After the bridge is the Topa Village of Agonyi Kingdom
The village is relatively small as my friend told me but very peaceful and each member of the community is valuable.
And then not quite far from the village comes the Suntan beach.
As soon as I got in, my happy mode got activated because the beach is my happy place.
This is me reading to explore all I can find on the beach.
The first thing I did was to take off my shoes, hehe as I was ready to have so much fun.
I began a walk on the beach as there were many beautiful things to capture, the first thing I captured was the sea.
And then I saw a very big boat that looked abandoned and a beautiful storey hurt, I walked closer to get some shots.
Besides it is a bamboo lounge for visitors to have some fun over the night for those who would love to spend the night at the beach, it has a bar and some games in it but I wasn't granted access to it as I wasn't. a guest who would be spending the night there.
In front of it is a barbecue stand, this man sells roasted Chicken and fish, Suya and coconuts.
Coconuts are easy to get around here as you can see the trees everywhere.
Moving on, here are the tents on the beach to hide from the scorching sun and this tent is not free of charge, hehe.
Here is a beautiful view of the tents on the beach and this view was a delight to look upon.
Then I met a fisherman who was seriously fishing with his hook after exchanging pleasantries, I requested to interview him and he was very receptive.
He showed me his hook, here it is.
And here is the hole he dug to keep the fish safe from the dogs roaming on the beach.
And here are the fishes he has caught so far.
Here is also one of the horses I found on the beach and to ride on a horse on the beach costs about $2 per 5 minutes, haha which is way expensive haha.
I finally settled on the sand and had my name engraved on the sand which I know will be washed away by the waves of the sea, hehe.
Then I found some seashells too, I built a castle on the sand and before I could take a shot of it, it got washed away.
We are, drank and danced as other people at the beach came with a big music box.
The beach was so cool this time and I ensured to capture the peace and tranquillity I could find on the beach, this is now my new wallpaper.
We stayed for a few hours until it was about 6:30 pm before we left.
I had an amazing walk.πππ and I hope you enjoyed this virtual tour. Thanks to @tattoodjay for this amazing community where one can tour around the world virtually. Hehe.
Now, I am rejuvenated to face the rest of the week.
All images used are mine and shot by me.
