A Mirror of Global View Inequality: such a stereotype

In the Western Hemisphere we know how the average stereotype of their views towards the outside world. Especially towards the eastern hemisphere and other hemispheres. Especially developed countries such as the United States, England, France, to Germany, a mindset has formed that tends to be uniform in viewing the outside world, especially countries in the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Latin America. This stereotype did not suddenly appear or just happen. However, it grew from the historical roots of colonialism, ideological wars, so that the mainstream media simplified reality into a single narrative: "The Western World is advanced, rational, peaceful, while the Eastern World = exotic, chaotic, backward."

Such a stereotype does seem to have taken root due to the level of their propaganda value towards their descendants from ancient times to the present. Sorry, this is not judging but everything is based on real evidence where historical records have truly recorded it. The Middle East in many Western films, news, and literature, this region is often depicted as a place of eternal conflict that never ends, full of violence and fanaticism. In fact, who sells the weapons? Who started the war for resources? That perspective is not missed but deliberately ignored and made into the truth. African countries are also not free from the label of 'poor and always shown the word need help', even though in reality many countries are rich in resources and culture. Meanwhile, Asia itself is often depicted in two extreme poles: between a mystical world full of kung fu, dragons and ghost stories and a cold technological world without human and civilized values.
It is ironic indeed and even more ironic that non-Western societies who are viewed like that by the Western world actually complain more about the existence of the Western world which is actually full of lies, fakes, colonialism, and manipulation to rule the world. Unconsciously, this stereotype has finally strengthened the global injustice system. Because of the image that is formed, non-Western countries find it difficult to get an equal place in the global arena. Even in diplomacy, trade, and human rights issues, Western standards are used as universal references, while local wisdom is often considered old-fashioned or irrelevant.
It is time to open up and dismantle stereotypical views like this, where culture, social, religion, are one unity in the basic pillars of life to achieve justice. This may not be just a note or free writing made in 5 minutes, but it is about the importance of seeing what the side of truth is, and the reality that should be accepted by reason given to humans. Is this a fairy tale, not once was this written seeing the injustice that has occurred until now against parts of the world that are victims of western colonialism that is so bad and so real its cruelty. If you as part of the western world are offended by this writing, one message from me is to use your reason and conscience, and ask yourself whether you are part of that cruelty?
