A Small Batch

The Hive Community Creative Work Hour is not a big group, especially compared to some on Hive. I like to think of us more of a small batch.

Sadly, one of our crew had to make the toughest decision one can make with a pet today. You know the one. That last decision.

This morning,

was at the emergency vet with her sweet dog, Lily (photo below), while one of our daily sessions, "Cuppa Joe," was live. Via Discord DMs she let us know how things were progressing, right up to that time for Rochelle to kiss Lily goodbye.

Not Just For Humans

In the CWH family of events, if you want to engage your camera, you can. Rochelle has made it a point to share Lily with the crew at every check out at the end of a session. Lily even recognised our voices. So sweet!!

When the word came that Lily was gone,

responded as the kind-hearted creative that he is. He sketched out an idea for something we could do for Rochelle to let her know how much all of us will miss Lily.

On our behalf, Greg will build a slideshow to celebrate Lily's life. We are all contrbuting.

has given us the third movement of his piano sonata for the soundtrack, Greg has gone through our Discord server to find the many photos of Lily, several of the crew not there today have sent condolences that will be included, and

has created the most heavenly art showing Lily entering her forever journey. We can't wait to see it given to Rochelle, to share with her how much we all loved Lily.
