Hello beautiful people, this is Afritunes Week 165. I’m @akwash360. In this week rendition I will be doing a cover of the song “Godiya” by Solomon Lange, a popular Nigerian Gospel Singer.

Godiya simply means "Gratitude" and it's a song that expresses once gratitude and appreciation to God. I’ve known Solomon Lange for a while now and I must say that most of his songs has really blessed me. I see him as that passionate man of God who is eager and longing to see that the gospel is preached. I’ve witnessed him attend many live concerts and conferences in order to minister to the people through songs. And I’ve seen people jubilating when ever he comes on stage to minister. That shows how much they love to hear from him. Personally, I love to listen to him as well. His songs are just so powerful.

I also admire his commitment and dedication to the work of the ministry. He has honored so many invitations together with his crew. That shows their commitment to ensuring that the word is preached regardless. And I love to see people giving their best to see that the gospel is preached.

And I must say that he is indeed blessed with talented singers and instrumentalists, who are willing to use their individual talents to support his ministry. They are so good at what they do. The backup singers understand their various parts so well and they pickup the song when they are supposed to.

Also, the instrumentalists are superb. They are extremely talented. The way they communicate with those instruments are just so amazing.
